Neatly cut, and left tidy
Whether it's a front hedge that needs a neat trim every year or one that's been left to get away from you, we'll cut it back into shape and leave the garden as tidy as we found it.
We come and look at the hedge first, so the price you get is the price you pay.

When to cut
Most garden hedges are best cut once or twice a year, between late spring and early autumn. Faster growers like privet may need an extra trim.
We always check for nesting birds before we start, and if a hedge is in use we'll leave it and come back.
If you'd like your hedges cut each year, we can arrange a regular booking.
Questions
Do you take the clippings away?
Yes. Everything is swept up, bagged and taken away, so you're not left with a pile to deal with.
Can you reduce the height of a tall hedge?
Yes. We can take a tall or overgrown hedge down and cut the sides back to bring it under control. We'll talk you through how hard it can be cut when we visit.
How much does hedge cutting cost?
It depends on the length, height and access, so we come and look first and give you a clear, fixed price. The quote is free.
What about the neighbour's side of the hedge?
We can quote for your side and the top, or the whole hedge. If we need access from your neighbour's garden, this will need to be agreed with them beforehand.
Do you cut conifer and Leylandii hedges?
Yes, including tall ones. We'll tell you how far it can be cut back without leaving brown patches.
